Eriophyllum stachaedifolium  Lizard Tail  Bay Area 
With beautiful silvery-blueish-green foliage and a bright yellow bloom in summer, Lizard Tail is a distinguished member of the local Franciscan flora. Grows in time into a sprawling evergreen perennial/shrub 30" tall and 5 feet wide; excellent wildlife habitat and good for erosion control in disturbed areas. Easy in the garden with full sun, little water, and good drainage.
