Arctostaphylos columbiana


Among the largest manzanitas, a fine specimen to 20-25 feet tall with big and widely spaced bluish-green leaves and a magnificent architectural habit. Also found as a 3-4' bush in the pygmy forests above Mendocino. Good focal point in the xeriscape garden.
