Arctostaphylos viridissima

The uncommon whitehair manzanita reaches 4 to 6 ft. tall and wide; the cultivar 'White Cloud' was selected by Bert Johnson for its profuse snowy-white flowers and dense, glossy, dark green leaves. He grew it from a cutting taken on the island in 1979.
