Deadhead flowers to prolong bloom period. Full sun, low water, high drought tol., clay soils and moderate slopes ok.

Star-like pinkish flowers at the top of erect flower stems (Summer-Fall)
Full sun, likes a little more water than Narrowleaf, but can tolerate more sun and heat, most soils ok
Monarch host plant, hummingbird favorite. Dormant in Fall.
