Heuchera maxima  Giant Island Alumroot  So Cal Islands 
Big lush evergreen perennial for dry shade or sun on the coast with a little water. Gets around 2 feet tall and wide with three foot flower spikes that have tiny pinkish white flowers. Great for ground cover under oaks and is surprisingly drought tolerant.

Heuchera maxima hybrid 'Old La Rochette'  Old la Rochette Coralbells   
A robust clumping evergreen perennial which gets 1-2 feet tall and wide when not flowering. With flower stalks they can be held to another 14 inches. Their light pink flowers dangle gently from bare stems and hold a long bloom period (spring-summer). Great hummingbird attraction and can do well in shade to part shade for bordering and rock pond gardens.

Heuchera micrantha  Alum Root  Habitat Potential 
Our local Heuchera has a small size to 12 inches and white flowers. A charming deer resistant plant for dry shade.

Heuchera sanguinea x maxima 'Rosada'  Rosada Hybrid Alum Root    
A shade loving evergreen perennial which was selected specifically for its long bloom period spring-summer). 'Rosada' can grow 1-2 feet tall and wide in dense clumps of foliage. When blooming, they send up 8-12 inch flower stalks that hold soft pink flowers that hummingbirds love.
